Alfred Jordan was elected to the Jackson County Legislature in 2014. Alfred has lived in the 2nd District for most of his life, attended Kansas City Public Schools and graduated from Hickman Mills High School.
Alfred currently works as in-house counsel for AltEn, LLC, an alternative energy company specializing in the production of biofuels. He previously worked as a corporate attorney for Bryan Cave LLP, an international law firm, emphasizing his practice on mergers and acquisitions and as an accountant and project analyst for Sprint.
Alfred is a member of the Board of Directors of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Kansas City, was previously the treasurer of the Jackson County Bar Association and has continuously been involved in serving the community through his work with charitable and political organizations.
Alfred has a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Master of Accountancy from the University of Missouri - Columbia and a Master of Business Administration with an emphasis in Entrepreneurship and a Juris Doctor from the University of Missouri - Kansas City.
Alfred lives in the Tri-Blenheim neighborhood. He and his wife Melissa have 4 children.
